Who is GreenFleet?
GreenFleet is a not-for-profit environmental organization that has been leading climate action for over 25 years. As Australia’s first carbon offset provider, they focus on protecting the climate by restoring native forests.
Through planting biodiverse native forests in Australia and New Zealand, GreenFleet helps to restore natural ecosystems and capture carbon emissions on behalf of its supporters.
As these forests grow, they contribute to combating climate change, improving soil and water quality, and creating vital habitats for native wildlife, including many endangered species.

What are we doing?
IVW 2026 is offsetting the carbon emissions from delegates' air travel to the Workshop, partnering with GreenFleet to reduce the event's environmental impact. For each offset, GreenFleet will plant native trees in legally protected, biodiverse forests in Australia and New Zealand. This initiative helps restore ecosystems, fight climate change, and support wildlife habitats. By participating, we contribute to a sustainable future and leave a positive environmental legacy.

What can you do?
You can help offset the carbon emissions from your flight by choosing the offset option during your Workshop registration. The cost of offsetting depends on the distance of your flight, whether it’s a short domestic trip or a long international journey. Your contribution will support tree planting in protected forests, playing a part in the fight against climate change and the restoration of vital ecosystems.
To offset your flight, please do so via the registration form or contact the Workshop Secretariat.
